Will Alcoa survive the fall? The stock fell yesterday, Wednesday trading day a little over 3% OR $1.22 mainly from the report that Alcan denied the hostile bid from Alcoa and Alcan is avoiding Alcoa and looking for other suitors to buy it. However, I think this is a good time to buy Alcoa's shares. Its finances are strong. Its price to earnings ratio is good at 15.31 which means is a good buy and its quarterly earnings growth is at 8.90%. Over the years, my research shows that the company's stock has grown substanially and I don't see that is stopping any time soon. In fact, I see the stock hitting a new 52 week high of $45 a share. So now would be a good time to buy. I bought 7 shares today because I think the price my fall a little more after the market opens and I will jump in and buy a lot more shares.
